COSMOTRON, Sri Lanka’s first virtual rover competition organized by the Rover and Robotics Division of SEDS Ruhuna, provides university students with an opportunity to experience space robotics through immersive virtual rover missions. Following the success of COSMOTRON 1.0, which was recognized as the Best Technical Project of SEDS Sri Lanka 2025, COSMOTRON 2.0 takes virtual space exploration to new heights with an exciting focus on the search for extraterrestrial life. Participants will design and program their own rovers, navigate an unexplored simulated planet, and embark on a mission to uncover evidence of alien life.
